Damon | Relaxed Senior Session in Sewickley

Damon absolutely crushed his high school senior portraits. This guy was hands-down the easiest to work with when it came to posing - natural confidence that shows in every frame.

Damon plays basketball and loves his precious puppy. We picked Sewickley for the location - the mix of urban charm and leafy backdrops gave us tons of variety. We hung out for about an hour and a half, talking and shooting some of the most wonderful portraits that made his mom Wendy incredibly happy.

What Damon Wore (And Why It Worked)

Damon nailed the outfit game. He showed up looking sharp and comfortable at the same time - which is exactly the vibe you want for senior photos. No suit and tie, no trying too hard. Just clean, well-fitted pieces that matched the Sewickley backdrop perfectly.

His go-to combo was dark fitted jeans with a button-down shirt, layered with a casual jacket. The darker tones photographed beautifully against the leafy greens and brick textures around town. He also brought a more relaxed option - a fitted henley with chinos - and it gave us a completely different feel without changing the whole mood.

The biggest thing I noticed with Damon: everything fit well. Not baggy, not skin-tight. That's the number one thing guys get wrong. You can wear a $30 shirt and look amazing if it actually fits your shoulders and torso. Damon's outfits weren't expensive - they were just intentional.

My advice for guys: stick to solid colors and neutral tones. Dark jeans or chinos are your base. Add one layer - a flannel, a bomber jacket, a clean button-down with the sleeves rolled.
